Damian, the owner, clearly takes pride in what he does — he’s hands-on, passionate, and genuinely cares about the quality of both the food and the experience. The sushi here is always fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. Whether you’re a fan of traditional nigiri or creative specialty rolls, there’s something for everyone. You can tell everything is made with care and precision. What really sets this place apart, though, is the personal touch. Damian makes you feel like family. It’s rare to find a spot that consistently delivers on quality, service, and atmosphere the way Sushi Cafe does. Everything is so good, and they have the best service. They are nice and very pollite, they always will give you free cucumbers or pea's before a imput to order. The atmosphere is gorgeous with trees and painting all over the walls, there's also little details to like old writing and descriptions about its past. The reason Why I love their sushi the most is for 3 reasons ( 1• fresh fish. 2• Good sauces . 3 • good service PLUS Additional Atmosphere) I recommend this place to any sushi lover in West Californian .

Best sushi we’ve found in the greater Sacramento area! Great service and fresh food. They have a lot more than just sushi (which is very good). The bento boxes give a good range of options and everything is delicious. In addition, they have excellent sukiyaki, which is not easy to find. The atmosphere is quite casual and comfortable. Service, while not overly friendly, is efficient and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Love this place! I've had it for take out a number of times before and have always been pleased with the quality of the food. I finally got to go for dinner and dine in, and I love it even more now. The service is excellent - super friendly and very understanding of my friend's food allergies. I can't wait to go back!
